Coaching

What I love most about Coaching is the opportunity to partner with extraordinary, talented people and organizations on the journey of transformational change.
 

I discovered Coaching at a time in my life when I was struggling as a leader.  Recently promoted to a senior executive role, with a growing team, and huge expectations to deliver results. I was traveling cross country for business, while staying up late in my hotel room at night to keep up with the emails, deadlines and staff issues back in the office. I would come home on Fridays (or sometimes Saturdays) and binge Netflix for the next day or 2, physically and emotionally drained.  In the darkest moments I doubted my capabilities. Was I really up for this challenge? 

I didn't have a label for it back then other than "stress." Now we call it Burnout. Exhaustion. Imposter Syndrome. Inner Critic. People Pleasing. Lack of Boundaries. Inability to say No. Fear of Failure. Depression. 

And it's a story I hear over and over again from my clients. But this doesn't have to be your story, or the story that defines you. 

The reality is, when we're really really good at what we do, we take on more. and more. and more. And rarely do we have a person or safe space to talk openly about what we're actually experiencing, our internal dialogue and self doubt. This is where Coaching is transformative.

Coaching with Me:

I coach emerging leaders and high performers who are ready to step into their full potential.  I create a safe, confidential environment for you to work through your hairiest challenges, self-doubts and dreams. Our coaching session is time for you and you alone, where you can talk openly and honestly about the issues you're facing.  I'll serve as your thought partner and sounding board, help you make sense of the thoughts jumbling around in your head, and yes- I'll also challenge you and give you direct (but caring) feedback. Because this isn't easy work.

I consider myself to be a Coach-Consultant, because there may be times when you want or need additional insights that draw from my decades of business leadership experience. And when appropriate I'll offer you direct feedback and guidance to support you in achieving your goals.

 

Yet at the end of the day, you are always in the driver's seat.
